ATEX directives: The regulations applicable to equipment (machines, protection systems, components, etc.) intended for use in explosive atmospheres are based on European Directives, transposed to French law.
Applicable since 30 June 2003
Certification is granted by accredited bodies whose accreditation has been notified to the European Commission.
